After 1 week of cooled maceration the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats. 20% of the wine was kept in French oak barrique barrels for 3 months and blended afterwards. No malolactic fermentation in order to preserve freshness and fruitiness (red berries, sour cherry) typical for Teran variety.
Ombra is a fresh and vivid wine. savoury, with attractive stonefruit aromas and a hint of sweet spices. Medium bodied, moderate alcohol content. Juicy wine with lots of fresh fruit flavors.
